Hey, I’m Pete. I run Gear Horizon, a tech review channel and website based in British Columbia, Canada.

I started Gear Horizon to do the kind of reviews I always wanted as a buyer: real products, tested for weeks in real life, with honest verdicts. If something is great, I’ll tell you. If it’s not worth your money, I’ll tell you that too.

What I cover: wireless mics and creator audio, action cameras and gimbals, watches (especially Casio and G-Shock), smart glasses and wearables, smart home gear, and travel tech.

How reviews work: I test every product hands-on, usually for at least two to three weeks, before publishing. Brands sometimes send review units, but that never buys a positive verdict. When I earn a commission through affiliate links, it’s disclosed on every page.

The YouTube channel has over 23,000 subscribers and counting. This website is where the full written reviews, comparisons, and buying guides live.
